Copying and Pasting Blocks

The easiest way to reuse blocks from your theme on a new page is by copying and pasting them within the Bricks Builder visual editor. This saves you time and ensures your design stays consistent.

Step-by-Step Instructions #

  1. Open Bricks on Both Pages
    • In your WordPress dashboard, open the page you want to copy from by clicking Edit with Bricks.
    • In a separate tab, open the new page where you want to paste the block (also using Edit with Bricks).
  2. Copying the Block
    • In the Bricks visual editor, go to the block you want to copy (Majority of the blocks are contained in a page called “ALL BLOCKS [DO NOT DELTE]”).
    • In the right-hand column, click the dropdown menu to select the outermost container (usually labeled Section).
    • Right-click the section and select Copy, or press Command + C (Mac) / Ctrl + C (Windows).
  3. Pasting the Block on the New Page
    • On the new page tab, click Command + V (Mac) / Ctrl + V (Windows), or right-click and select Paste.
    • Your block will appear on the new page with all settings intact.

Pro Tip: #

Make sure you select the outermost layer (like Section) when copying, to ensure the entire block and all its elements are copied correctly.

Explore Pre-Made Blocks and Templates #

All available blocks and template pages for your theme are listed on this page for easy reference. Use these to quickly build out new pages and maintain a consistent style.
