Editing your pages is easy with the Bricks Builder. Follow the steps below to access the visual editor and start customizing your site.
Step 1: Open Bricks Builder #
- In your WordPress dashboard, go to Pages > All Pages.
- Find the page you want to edit, hover over it, and click Edit with Bricks.
- This will open the Bricks visual editor, where you can customize your page.
Using Breakpoints for Responsive Design #
At the top of the Bricks visual editor, you’ll find four icons representing breakpoints for:
- Desktop
- Tablet
- Mobile Landscape
- Mobile Portrait
Your theme is mobile responsive by default, so customizations aren’t necessary unless you want to tweak things further. Please note that tutorials on DWS Studio documentation cover only basic changes to your theme. For advanced customization, refer to Bricks’ official documentation.
⚠️ Important:
The Bricks preview may differ slightly from how your page looks on actual mobile devices, so always test your changes on your phone or tablet to ensure everything looks perfect.
Editing Text Content #
- Simply click on the text element in the editor and start typing to update content.
- If the section uses dynamic elements (like post titles or dates), you’ll see curly brackets
{ }
around the name of the dynamic content.- Example:
{post_title}
means the element will always pull the post title automatically, so you don’t need to manually update it for each blog post.
- Example:

- Click on the (Background Container) element.
- Navigate to Styles > Background.
- Upload or select a new image and click Save.
Editing Buttons and Links #

Changing the Button Link #
- Click on the button, then go to the Content tab in the left sidebar.
- Scroll down to the Link Type section.
- Choose from the following link types:
- Internal: Links to pages or posts on your own site (use the search bar to find the right page).

Pro Tip: Stick with Internal Links for pages or blog posts within your website to maintain good site structure.
Saving Changes #

- It’s a good habit to save every few minutes to prevent losing work in case of technical issues.
