Your website menu is like a map that helps visitors explore parts of your site. Whether you’re launching a new page, renaming a section, or changing the order, updating your menu is something you’ll likely encounter as your business offers and priorities change.
Here’s how to do it:
Where to Find Menu Editor #
In your WordPress dashboard, go to:
Appearance → Menus

This is where you can add, remove, or rearrange items in your site’s main navigation.

If your site uses more than one menu (like a mobile or footer menu), you’ll be able to select which one to edit from the dropdown at the top.
Adding a New Page or Link #
To add a new item:
- Select a page from the list on the left and click Add to Menu.
- Or use Custom Links if you want to link to an external site or a specific section.
- Drag and drop to rearrange items as needed.
- Once you’re happy with the updates, click Save Menu.
- Your site frontend menu will update automatically.

Want your menu item to say something different than your page title? #
Click the little arrow next to a menu item to expand it, and edit the Navigation Label field.
This won’t affect your page title, just how it shows up in your menu.

Note on Dynamic Menus #
Some parts of your menu may load dynamically through Bricks (especially on custom templates or responsive designs). These elements may look different in the builder than they do in the dashboard.
If your site uses dynamic conditions, filters, or fallback menus:
Refer to your website handoff document for any notes specific to your setup.
